Washington State Senator Curtis King

Curtis King has proven to be a successful, effective leader in the Yakima Valley for over 25 years. Evidence of his success can be seen in many places because Curtis has been willing to take on the difficult tasks for all of us.  Through his decisive actions, he has improved the lives of the people of our Valley.  Now, we need Curtis in Olympia working for us. 

Experience and knowledge gives Curtis the ability to understand the complex problems facing our State Legislature.  He comprehends the challenges to our health care industry from all sides.  As the Chairman of the Providence Hospital Board, he succeeded in keeping the hospital open.  As a business owner with an MBA from Clemson-Furman University, he understands the challenges facing those in business and the building industry. He has seen how government over-reaching and over regulation can stifle success and negatively affect our job market.  Curtis has been a champion for our children working to improve education.  He has worked first-hand with School District leaders and teachers.  Curtis believes that Olympia needs to fully fund Education as mandated by our State Constitution without raising taxes. Curtis knows, too, that our right to live in a safe community is at risk because of the drug and crime problems we face. This knowledge and understanding is what we need in the leader we send to Olympia.
